Charlotte City Council voted tonight to approve Sunday morning alcohol sales. Restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and other retailers in Charlotte may now begin selling alcohol at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays. The new “brunch bill” ordinance is effective this Sunday, July 30, 2017.
Other North Carolina municipalities have also approved Sunday morning alcohol sales, including Mecklenburg County, Huntersville, and Cornelius.
